Alex passionately believes that good quality movement is fundamental to a happy and healthy mind and body. She approaches her teaching with the goal of training the mind and the body to reconnect.
It is through developing this skill of body awareness, understanding and control that Pilates can help facilitate long term, sustainable changes.
Her classes are dynamic and challenging whilst focusing on precision and understanding of the "why" behind each exercise.
Alex qualified in 2014 and has trained extensively with the highly regarded and internationally recognised Body Control Pilates. She holds qualifications in Mat work as well as the full range of Studio Equipment (including the Reformer, Cadillac and Chair up to Advanced level.)
She has completed further training in Pre and Postnatal Pilates, the management of Hypermobility syndromes and is also a BackforGood Practioner specialising in the management and prevention of Low Back Pain.
